Working with SDA
As an Underwriter, you have two ways to work with SDA.
First, you can contract with SDA directly to perform property audits for you. When you contract with us directly, you will receive a 10% discount on our services. You provide us with a list of clients that you want us to work with and we will take it from there. We'll schedule the services and bill you at the end of each month for the properties we've audited.
If you prefer, you can offer our services through the agents to work with your clients. This gives you control over the properties that you want audited and let's your agents generate added income through our commissions. In this option, we will bill the property owners directly.
Data is King
Between your existing book of clients and the new policies you are working on writing, learning everything you can about each client can be overwhelming.
Becoming an SDA contract client will provide you with all the information you need allowing you to focus on building your business.
SDA is a professional drone and photography company, and we will work with you to begin documenting the properties you currently insure while prioritizing the potential customers that you are working to onboard.
Client Property Audits
We will schedule an hour and a half for homes up to 5000 SQFT. We'll begin our audit inside the client's property, capturing images of the attic/crawl space and the basement with images of all visible utilities. We'll continue through the house, creating a photographic log of the property and appliances in each room.
The last step inside is to photograph all of the clients personal items that need to be on an insurance rider, including, but not limited to, jewelry, watches, firearms and collectibles.
Once we've completed our work inside we will conduct a drone flight over the buildings and property to capture video of the structures, landscaping and water features. Finally, we will capture images of the exterior condition of the property to help identify issues before they become a claim.
